Make Your Own Tea Bath

Make a Green Tea and Lemongrass Bath

A half cup of Green Tea
A half cup of Calendula Petals
1/8 cup Mint
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
1/2 tsp of JoJoba Oil
1/4 cup Ground Almonds
3-5 drops Lemongrass Es. oil, or the grated peel of 1 lemon

Place all the ingredients except the oils in a cheesecloth or similar gauzy bag. Tie it shut tightly with string or a rubber band, place it in a large heat resistant container and pour boiling water on it. You will want enough boiling water to completely cover the bag.

Fill the bathtub and then pour the bag and the water it was steeped in into the tub. Add the oils and use your hand to mix the bath well.

Enjoy!

Simple Green Tea Bath Bags

1 cup loose green tea
1 cup calendula or comfrey
4 to 6 drops rose or lavender oil

Mix all ingredients well and fill small bags made of 100% cotton gauze.
Tie the tops with string, rubber band or ribbon. When it’s bath time, hold a bag under the running tap of a tub until the tub is half full. Squeeze often to release the fragrance while you do this.

Rub the tea bag over your body while you bathe, paying special attention to areas that need softening.

Let the bag float in the tub for maximum advantage.
